Two Wigeon
brunnakke on Husvatnet, Tjeldstø
Highlight was a fly over Grey Wagtail
vintererle. Other birds of interest included a strangely calling Chiff-chaff
gransanger (not the
tristis call) and a couple of latish Swallows
låvesvale. A Reed Bunting
sivspurv was probably newly arrived and there was a bit of thrush movement (Blackbirds
svarttrost, Fieldfare
gråtrost and Redwings
rødvingetrost).
Yesterday at Nautnes the best sighting were three Arctic Terns
rødnebbterne and a late Oystercatcher
tjeld. Other stuff included a White-tailed Eagle
havørn and a migrating Sparrowhawk
spurvehauk.
