Lovely weather after yesterday's strong south-westerly winds and driving rain. Sure enough there were birds about - a Northern Pintail stjertand being the highlight. However, also a sinensis Great Cormorant mellomskarv, several Eurasian Wigeon brunakke and a few Common Teal krikkand.
A good passage of Meadow Pipits heipiplerke heading south along with a few Barn Swallows låvsvale and a small flock of Blue Tit blåmeis. Two Northern Wheatear steinskvett rested out in the reserve.
