On Norway's national day there were predictably few birders at Skogsøy. Just me. Traditionally this day is a good one for Pomarine Skua polarjo but none showed today. Generally quiet - but the first Brent Goose ringgås of the year flew in a landed on one of the island. Other good birds included a couple of Great Northern Diver islom at close range and the usual Great Skuas storjo and Arctic Skuas tyvjo.
Generally dull, espcially around dawn when I attempted to take a picture of a Black Guillemot teist resting on the sea....
