Tjeldstø 01 September 2008

Stonechat svartstrupe near Tjeldstø
Sparrowhawk spurvhauk

Warm and sunny conditions today and some good birding too.
Highlight was a roadside Stonechat svartstrupe. Raptors put in an appearance with two Peregrines vandrefalk, a Sparrowhawk spurvhauk and a Kestrel tårnfalk.
Waders were limited to six Ruff brushane, about 15 Golden Plover heilo, a Curlew storspove and a few Snipe enkeltbekkasin. A Tree Pipit trepiplerke flew over with Meadow Pipits heipiplerke.
