Øygarden 13 November 2013 - wet and windy

Strong southerly winds and more or less constant rain.

Dropped in at several places today, nothing of major interest but obviously some stuff still about.

At Tjeldstø a female Teal krikkand on Husvatnet was pretty much the only bird to be seen.

Solberg was also virtually birdless with just a White-tailed Eagle havørn present. Two Otters put in an appearance here.

Next stop was Sture where a Woodcock rugde was the best bird.

Hjelme produced a couple more Woodcock rugde and two Waxwings sidensvans.

Hellesøy had little on offer - just a Velvet Scoter sjøorre feeding in one of the channels.

At Sæle a Nuthatch spettmeis put in an appearance and a male Blackcap munk fed in the few elderberry trees that have not been cut down.
