With fresh northerly winds forecast I chose Skogsøy.
Unusually the walk out to the look out point produced more than the seawatch itself with Lapland Bunting lappsurv, Jack Snipe kvarbekkasin, Kestrel tårnfalk, Goldfinch stillits, 30 Brambling bjørkefink and two Sparrowhawk spurvehauk in addition to the usual Crested Tits toppmeis and White-tailed Eagles havørn.
There was not much going on for the couple of hours I spent looking out to sea. The saving grace was a Black-throated Diver storlom heading north. Other species going the "wrong" way included a Grey Plover tundralo. Singles of Kittiwake krykkje and Black Guillemot teist were seen. Some distant auk passage, a handful of Gannets havsule, a few Red-throated Diver smålom, a total of 30 Common Scoter svartand and a light passage of Cormorant storskarv were the other sightings.
A few White-tailed Eagles havørn showed well at Tjeldstø on the way home. Two adults and a youngster.
