Skogsøy 24 May 2006

With a fresh south easterly wind blowing I was far from optmistic. However, within minutes of starting a Long-tailed Skua fjelljo headed north - a good start to any seawatch. Things quickly died off, although a White-billed Diver gulnebblom passed later on along with over 140 Barnacle Geese hvitkingås - probably the last of the spring.

Several Northern Fulmar havhest, a Ruddy Turnstone steinvender and the first Goldeneye kvinand for some time were also worth a mention - as were more Orcas spekkhoggere.
